Located at 245 Parramatta Rd in Annandale, Tetch Gallery is a new creative space in the area and aims to showcase and support established and upcoming artists of all genres, backgrounds and experience.
They thrive in creating a welcoming, creative and engaging professional space and enjoy interacting with artists and the public through the process of artistic promotion.
Gallery director and curator, Jonathan Hardy is an artist and fitter machinist by trade. His featured works - sporting angle-grinder markings, food colouring, spray-paint, etc - act as urban canvases; revealing an exploration of trade and industrial based techniques and the artistic relevance they can have to the classic DIY Aussie identity.
Shani Moffat is General Manager of the Glebe Chamber of Commerce, the organisation behind the Glebe Street Fair, Tasting Trek, Gig Hop and Glebe Parklet. Previously Shani managed Word Travels working on numerous events including the Australian Poetry Slam and Sydney Writers' Festival spoken word program. She has also worked in Strategy and Communications at the Sydney Opera House for eight years. As a Creative Producer and artist, Shani has also worked on a huge range of festivals and events including Jurassic Lounge, the Rocks Village Bizarre, Harvest Festival and Festival of the Winds.
James works as Creative Program Manager at 107 Projects in Redfern overseeing a diverse program of events, exhibitions and workshops including all forms of creativity; from visual art to theatre, live music to life drawing, and everything in between.
Starting out as a volunteer at 107 in 2014 while studying Honours in Fine Arts at UNSW Art&Design (COFA), he progressed from 107’s exhibitions intern to Visual Art Director after graduating. James’ own artistic practice varies from sculpture and installation to drawing and new media, with equally as broad and playful themes.
